VISION STATEMENT:
Corpus Christi American Federation of Teachers, Local #3456 (CCAFT) is an organization which represents all non-administrative school employee in the Corpus Christi area. On their behalf we support improvement of working conditions through school policy and state and federal legislative action. We work toward benefits that equal or exceed others employees in private industry and in public employment. We work toward establishing a safe, orderly, cooperative climate in our schools for students as well as employees. All of our efforts culminate in giving every child the best education possible in spite of any impediments that may inhibit his or her ability to learn. And, finally, we all believe that all of this can be accomplished when we achieve collective bargaining for all school employees through enabling legislation at the national or state level.
