On April 16th, TFT members from across the state helped make TFT's Virtual Lobby Day a record-breaking success. By using the TFT Web site, almost 17,000 letters were sent to Texas legislators by e-mail and fax in support of amending the House budget to restore full funding for health insurance and education programs. This grass-roots effort made school employees a massive presence in the Texas House.
